Sculptor & Jewelry Artist
I trained as a sculptor with Isabelle Waldberg at Beaux Arts in Paris and besides my work as a sculptor I have always enjoyed making/creating jewelry for my own collections and for haute couture’s Paco Rabanne, Emanuel Ungaro and Christian Lacroix.
I am inspired by a multitude of genres. I like delicate organic forms, the interspersing of lace, the spiralling shellfish, the varying forms of graminae as well as by the unlikely balancing acts in Muybridge’s chronophotographs, analising humans and animals in motion.
I work with bronze and welded metal. I model wax and plaster.
I enjoy the contrast between the delicacy of the object and the roughness of the metal.
